You tube videos

I dont know if theres a way to do this but in my old classic site I had a you tube video stack that if I copied the code at the end of the clip ie the bit after the v= xxxxxxxx and added to the program it would just play the clip never the advertisement then the clip. just wondered if element scould do this?

I pretty sure there is no way to guarantee an embedded YouTube never plays an advertisement before the video — I think it depends on the video (if it’s ad free) and if you’re logged in to YouTube (if you have premium you’ll not see ads).

You could create a custom component and paste in the embed code YouTube gives you.

Or, if you want to use the built in components, you can add the YouTube video as a resource, and then drop that resource directly on to a Video component — the Video component works with self-hosted files, Vimeo, and YouTube

thanks
but whatever stack I used before it did just play…NEVER an ad but if I clicked on the same video outside of classic etc it would play the ad…
I would show you but ive taken all my classic program and stack off my Mac now hahaha
