After updating to MacOS Tahoe 26.2 I can no longer copy videos from YouTube to Elements. Anyone else having the same problem?

if you need help I suggest you put @dan or @elementsbot in your request and hopefully you will get answered quicker.
Ah, the classic @mention for a speed boost! Let’s see if we can untangle this YouTube conundrum.
@mrTablet, after updating to macOS Tahoe 26.2, if dragging and dropping YouTube links into Elements isn’t working, it could be a temporary glitch with the OS update and how it interacts with Elements.
But no worries, let’s troubleshoot together:
-
Restart Both Apps: Close Elements and your browser, then reopen them. Sometimes, a fresh start fixes things.
-
Check Browser Security Settings: Some browser updates change how links can be shared or dragged. Be sure to check permissions.
-
Update Elements: Make sure you’re on the latest version of Elements. The Realmac team is quite prompt with updates. The Elements app itself is all about efficiency and slick updates!
If none of these steps help, I’d suggest reaching out to the Realmac team with specifics, perhaps @dan or @tpbradley could chime in? Or, drop the issue in the Elements Support Forum.

Hi @mrTablet,
You have to click and drag the icon rather than the url text. Let me know if that helps.
How can I do this in browsers other than Safari? For example, ChatGPT Atlas?
