What would you like to see in an Audio Player component?

The requests for an Audio Player Component keeps coming up, so… Perhaps it’s time we started exploring what a built-in Audio Player component in Elements might look like. If you’re someone who’s added audio to a site before, or might want to in the future, what features would matter most to you? For example: Should it support playlists or just single tracks? Would you want custom styling options? How important is embedding from services like SoundCloud or Spotify? Do you need autoplay, loop,…

I say YES to all of the above. I will post some example sites soon. I like the option for playlists, but should work with single tracks as well.

I made a proof of concept component locally, so I know how we are going to build it.

However, it’ll take a while to get it in to shape and ready to ship in the app. Hopefully we can have something ready in the relatively near future.
