Hi, I had troubles, too with 6.3.5: It sought to upload ALL the 2.000+ files (photos) after I had made minor changes…
I have gone back to 6.3.4 now.

I can publish under 6.3.5, but in the blog pages, a problem which had been fixed appears again : you change one word in a blog file, RW re-publish all files (so you change a word and it re-publish 300 files). WTF ?
OK. Have you an e-mail that I can send you the link ?
Besides, i saw that in the blog, when you are in a spacific page (article) the menu disappears…
So I came back to version 6.3.4. The menu appears again on blog pages. But RW always re-publish all files. Maybe should I delete the preferences file ?
I posted previously somewhere that I had not experienced publishing issues with RW6. Sadly all change with this release. Frequent and seemingly random errors - and error messages also vary. Usually works first time if I restart RW. Have slowed down concurrent uploads to ‘slow’ but makes no difference.
Is there any update on this publishing situation? I spent most of yesterday making some changes to my site and planned to upload them this morning but it’s just not possible to upload now via FTP through 6.3.5. I wanted to try using warehoused images.
After choosing to republish all files it goes through the process of exporting the site but then the upload process never begins. A pop up window saying “Publishing your website” appears with a solid blue line beneath it that never moves and I’ve tried a dozen times without luck. This has never happened before 6.3.5.
My publishing settings were previously set to passive, so I tried extended passive but that doesn’t work either. After a few minutes I just press the cancel button. I guess I can try using Yummy FTP but this really should work…
