Captions for Gallery - has anybody got them working ?

Only with thumbnails.
You have them working with thumbnails ?
I could do but turned them off.
I see you have them turned on from your screen shot above. You also have to add the caption to the images. So open the resources directory that they are in and click on the image. Assuming you have the same set up as me you need to then click on the i button at far right and then add the caption -
I cannot get it to work for the full size picture so don’t use captions, in fact I just use image sliders now waiting patiently for a better method of displaying a group of photos like I had in RW.
(The full stop at the end of the caption was some some SEO suggestion but looks naff so will delete if I ever use the captions).

They don’t work like in some of the more advanced Classic gallery stacks. One way around is to setup the gallery as a collection of modals. One modal per image, then you can add text blocks to the image. When you click the modal thumbnail the “Lightbox” view will show together with any text/captions you have added. Haven’t gotten around to checking out a “hover” caption yet.

Here’s my initial gallery … looking ok - however would like option to see the ‘Caption’ when image is zoomed-up.
Was enjoying some of the brutalist architecture in your gallery, shown best in black and white, then I noticed a random colour photo. Then I noticed you have that same Gas Research photo twice in there.
I do like the way you have styled the captions.
