Collapse All / Expand All in the editing sidebar

It looks like this suggestion was brought up near the beginning of the beta. I’m not sure I understand how the other users want this to work but I was just thinking it could have the standard option button – click to collapse everything and another option-click expand all.

When I place an element on the page and follow along with the tutorials it is difficult to find where the settings are when so many are open at once. There are some programs that even have the option of only having one section open at a time so that when you open one section the previously open section closes. Not everyone likes this which is why this is set as an option.

Add this feature would make elements so much more usable.

right click on setting area and you will see the option to expand all or collapse all

Elements already has this option; we call it “Single Group Mode”. You can switch it on by right-clicking on a section heading. That’s how I use Elements

Oh nice! That is really helpful. I wonder what you would think about adding a way to get to this function by option clicking as well? It actually didn’t occur to me that a menu would come up by right clicking. Would others also have the same mind set I did? Seems like some would.
