Contact Form Error: "We cannot verify that you are trying to send an email from this form. Please try again."

Hi,

my RW7 contact form always shows the notification
“We cannot verify that you are trying to send an email from this form. Please try again.”

My German provider (1&1) uses PHP 7.1 as well as other/older versions to choose from and PHP is switched on.

Any idea what this notification means and how to fix it?

What email are you using in your settings? It depends on the host but some require that the email that the form sends from have a matching domain (so on a example.com website, the form should have info@example.com and not info@gmail.com)

In my form settings I use info@JoergGeissler.net as email address since the form is part of my website JoergGeissler.net
This should work, right?

Who’s your hosting company? Many have different restrictions to prevent people from using the mail server as a spammer.
