Custom Components Packaging?

I assume in the fullness of time it will be possible to import and export Custom Components or package them up in some way, which I think is referred to in the documentation.

It would certainly be useful to be able to have a user controlled lock on a custom component, so that unintentional amendments aren’t made. At the moment you have a mixture of potentially fixed items like the Templates, Properties, Hooks etc and modifiable items in Collections mixed together.

Yes of course. We have big plans for this to enable users/dev to easily distribute free and paid components.

There will be an option to package up and encrypt your custom component so users won’t be able to see or edit the code. Kinda like distributing a compiled app on the App Store.
