I’m trying to download a couple themes from the add ons page and nothing happens when I click on ‘Download Demo’.
The page just refreshes. I have adblockers off, btw.

The website is going through some changes, and some links may have been missed in the process. What themes were you trying to Demo?

This was a bug on the site where “Download A Demo” links were being displayed even when a demo hadn’t been supplied by the developer.
So the reason nothing happened was because there was no demo available to download.
