The drag and drop behavior is sometimes inconsistent. I made a video to demonstrate what I mean.

Okay, so the bug is that you sometimes can’t drag it into the right position in the Node tree?

Yes, an element doesn’t accept elements that are being moved. However, it does accept new elements.

This is really annoying at work. I had another case where I couldn’t move an entire tree. I wanted to “insert” a container. It doesn’t really work with the pages either.

We’re looking into the issue now, @tpbradley will let you know if he needs anymore details on this. Stay tuned for a fix!

@Ulrich @Pegasus - We tried to re-create the issue with no-luck, the node tree seems to be working here as expected. Do either of you have a project we can take a look at?

The quicker we can reproduce the issue, the quicker we can get this fixed :+1:

ah-ha! We’ve solved the mystery and will get this issue fixed in a future build (hopefully very soon).

Forgot to mention that this was fixed in build 1.0.8. However, we’ve just released Elements 1.0.9 (23745 ), which includes even more fixes!
