For me the right click duplication of grid items, previously being converted to a global, does not work.
However, when using drag & drop while holding the option key it will work, as long as the duplicated grid item is dropped above the current item.
When the duplicated grid item is dropped below and indented the current item, elements shows the beach ball and needs to be force quit.

Ah I see the problem, I think you are trying to duplicate a global into the same global. I’ve managed to reproduce the bug here and we have this marked down to fix.
