In Beta 21, I have a global grid, in which are: 3 containers (grid items), each with an image component. The image components are missing the global override switch in the controls section.
Oh good catch, we’ll get that fixed for the next beta!

@dan FYI, not fixed yet in Beta 22.

I was meaning to get back to you, I was obviously having a bit of a “foggy moment”. This is NOT a bug. The Global overrides is mainly for text content.
You are supposed to use the “unlink” option next to the image property when it’s in a global…
Let me know if you need any more help in making it work!
Gotcha.
On another note, Copy and paste (CMD-C & CMD-V) doesn’t work for a global in Page Editor.
What I was trying to do - Select the three images in the containers (grid items) in the grid. Clicked the unlink option for the images. Selected the three containers. Copied, then tried to paste, to increase the number of the grid items (containers with image components in them (set to be overridden).
The paste (via CMD-V) didn’t work.
I think the copy and paste issue is distinct from the override issue.
EDIT: After some brief testing, when the components are a global or part of a global, Copy & Paste doesn’t work. When they are removed from global, copy and paste works again.
EDIT 2: After some further testing, If I select the grid and flip the switch for global override there, and THEN copy and paste the grid item containers with Image components with link overrides selected, then copy and paste works. So it probably works as intended, but not as I expected.
