Elements Beta 34 (Build 23213)

Hello again,

Following up on Beta 33 from Tuesday, Beta 34 brings a mix of bug fixes and developer-focused improvements! :rocket:

This update introduces a new plain link option in the link panel, paving the way for PHP support in upcoming components. Plus, PHP files in Dev Components now render HTML directly in the Editor!

What’s New in Elements Beta 34 (Build 23213)?

  • Added a plain link option in the link panel to support PHP in upcoming components
  • PHP Files in Dev Components will now render HTML in the Editor (PHP will only render in Preview).
  • Container: Reverted link change to fix hover issues (HTML does not support nested href tags)
  • Fixed Dark/Light Mode issues
  • No longer outputs double slashes in path when site is previewed
  • Link attributes are now saved
  • Open in new window link setting is now saved
  • Fixed missing toolbar icons on older versions of macOS
  • Fixed Workspace crashes on macOS 10.13 and 10.14

Known Issues

We’re aware of some issues effecting text styling, these will be fixed in a future build once we’ve upgraded to Tailwind V4.

Get the Update

Elements should prompt you while it’s running to let you know there’s an update. If it doesn’t, you can select the “Check for Updates…” menu option from the “Elements” app menu.

@dan : every time I want to enter the preview mode, Elements crashes in this new build.

Update: it only happens with 1 project. Tried another project and there it works fine.
