Hi @dan
my team and me are sharing files over github. That works fine with devpacks. But today we tried to do the same with a elements
file and when we try to open it on one others computer we get following error:
As I remembered using element files with github should work.
When we share the file over a zip file all works fine.

Hmmm, I wonder what’s going on there?! Element files are essentially just a bunch of text files, so it should work.
Can you share the project with us so we can take a look?
I need to evaluate more tomorrow, staff already left.
But we are having a gitignore for the DS_STORE files. Could that be a reason?

No, they are just (annoying) Finder files, don’t think you mneed those!

Hi @dan ,
yeah thats what they should only be. Anyway I got a test project up and running. But the result got worse. Here a short description how we did that:
Create a project from person A add some stuff, change the theme app.elements
Create a project from person A add nothing, use the pre-assigned default theme blank.elements
Commit and push all to github
Now when I want to open it show this:
Which is different to before.
We also added a zip file which contains the 2 projects as well. When unzip those and open it. It works with Elements.
We used v0.6.5 and v0.6.6 for testing.
