Folders in Page Manager prevent saving

Added some folders in page manager. Tried to save project and “The document could not be saved”. Deleted folder, and was able to save ok.

Just tried to recreate this bug here and it worked fine (typical), does it always do this for you? If so, can you send us the project?

Yes. Consistently.

How shall I send you the project file?

This issue is reproducible here.

Create a folder, document won’t save. Delete the folder it saves normally. It doesn’t appear to matter if the folder has any content or not.

@dan, would it be possible to make the text in the About Elements box selectable? I was going to add the beta build number but can’t select it - might be useful when there are rapid fire builds being released (FWIW this build is 22822)

@trinube @sbchasin can you both send your sample files over to dan@realmacsoftware.com and we’ll take a look!

Yes, but for now click in the projects window…

File sent.

Doh :person_facepalming: I was creating Folders in the Resources area, when it’s actually Folders in the Page area that causes the issue. We’ll get this fixed for the next beta!

Do you have another way to send?? File too large (all my resources are in project)

It’s ok, we’ve been able to reproduce it here and I’ll get a fix into the next beta, thanks guys!

Just to add to this, if you add a folder underneath the home page in the Pages tab, then select the home page, then click Preview In Browser, Safari won’t display the page as it says connection dropped by server. Deleting the folder from the Pages tab and then Safari works.

Funny enough I’ve just fixed this one too!
