How to build blog pages in Elements?

I’m thinking of buying Elements, migrating from or perhaps continuing with Classic, but don’t see any explanation/tutorial of how to build a blog. That’s a bit of a surprise to me because I thought Elements billed itself as a good website AND blog builder. There are explanations about how to build various components of a website using Elements, but I see nothing about building a blog. Or have I missed an explanation/tutorial somewhere? If so, can someone point me to a tutorial/explanation?

Thanks. I watched the CMS video about blogging and have looked at the Elements file project. But it seems beyond my pay grade. Are you thinking of wrapping simpler blog options into Elements? I’m coming from the good old Classic blogging world, which was limited but simple to use. Without an easier to use blog option I’m not sure I should make the jump from Classic to Elements, esp. giving the price.

They are eventually going to build a user interface that does not require coding or markdown. They are trying to get the back end code done.

Yup, it’s early days yet, we’re still working on the CMS (aka blogging engine), and while it’s more complex to set-up right now, it’s already infinitely more powerful and flexible. We’ll be smoothing out the workflow and producing documentation and tutorials as the CMS gets further along.

Is there anything available here yet for a quick-start blog ?
