As I’m new here, I may be missing something obvious. :^)
It would be very useful to have a Preview that listened on your Mac’s LAN IP address. There appears to be a php server that listens on 127.0.0.1:<some_port>.
This would allow direct Preview on phones and tablets. While Browsers and Simulator are good for layout testing. They don’t really permit evaluation of the touch/scroll experience. This is a key part of the mobile UI interaction. Uploading is the workaround.
Great suggestion, and it has come up before. No promises, but it’s something we’re currently looking into…
