Missing theme so RW file won't open

The (null) theme that this document uses is missing. If you open this project, RapidWeaver will apply the Offroad theme. Are you sure you still want to open this project?

When I select “Apply Theme and Open”, nothing happens. The error message goes away but RW7 does not "apply a Theme and Open. Any ideas?

You can select the correct theme in toolbar > themes.

If you have forgotten what theme you have used, you can try this:

  • Open the published website, maybe in Safari.
  • Activate the developer tools (preferences).
  • Click “Element Information” (context menu) or use ⌥ - ⌘ - U.
  • look for sth like “href="rw_common/…" in the head section. Here you find the name of the theme
  • select the theme in the toolbar > themes

If you don’t find the theme in the theme library you have to reinstall it. Maybe you have deactivated it in toolbar > addons
