Overlaying text over an image

Hi,

What’s the best way of overlaying an image with text. I want to create a page banner but don’t want to embed text into the image as it’ll probably go ragged when scaled (if that makes sense?).

It was something you could do pretty easily in Dreamweaver, but can’t fathom out how to do it in RW / Stacks / Foundation.

You can do this easily with Joe’s Target stack. There is another stack called Layer or Layers or something like that, but can not remember who makes it.

I’ve used the DeFligra Layer Stack for years – just the job! Mind you, I’m sure Joe’s Target Stack would be just as good.

Hi Peter, I was just reading your comment and although I don’t want to hijack Mike’s post, I’m looking for some help with “Layers Stack” too. I want layer text over images but when I try to view my page on an android phone the front panel (the text) cuts off short. Any ideas welcome, thanks
