Problem enlarging text and responsive layout

I am designing my responsive layout but I am having trouble with sizing my text. When I go to a larger layout, I cannot make my text larger unless I use the text style box. The problem is that there is no override, and the mobile text is enlarged as well. When I try to change the text size by overriding the text box, the text does not enlarge. What am I doing wrong?

It is all dictated by the Size box where you have 2XL selected. If I am understanding you correctly go to the mobile view and set the 2XL to whatever size you want. Then click on the next view size, click on the dot next to the Size box so it goes bold and select the next size. All screens above the size you are on now have this size as the default. Go to the next screen size up and repeat.

If you change the font size before you hit the little blue button it will assume you want that font on all pages.

Hope that helps? There is a video tutorial that shows it but not sure which video that is. Someone may post a link.

Thank you. The problem is that the text size does not increase when I select the box and change the size to say 4XL. This is what I’m following.

Hmmm. I guess what I would do would be to add a new container in the mobile view and drag in a new text component and make that SM in a standard font. Then I would go to the next screen size up, click the dot and make it 4XL and see if it changes. If it does then you can add the formatting you want and then drag that text into the other container and remove the one you are having problems with. If it doesn’t work then something else could be going on.

Do you get the same issue with all the text components on that page?

One issue I had when I could not see changes on the biggest screen size was that Elements had shrunk the screen to fit. Not a problem with your screenshot as it says 100% in bottom right but if you make the Elements window smaller on the page, or have a bigger screen view open, it can drop to below 100% and then you are not seeing the correct thing. You can check this by previewing the site if you run into the issue.
