RapidWeaver 8.9 broken preview - UPDATE: Fixed in 8.9.1 :)

I tried both public and developer previews.

Yes, I tried also with a new project it is still the same. No Preview. As I said no problem on v8.9.0.

I back to v8.9.0. it is much stable for me in Monterey.

Yo Dan,

I dropped back to 8.3 and things stabilized.

Before I move up to 8.9.1, could you please tell all of us what the bugs were.

Thanks for getting hot on this, man.

John(@notimeflat),
Not sure why you went all the way back to 8.3? RapidWeaver 8.8.3 has been out since April and is very stable.

8.9.1 fixed the preview issue for me for Majave (10.14.6).

8.9 release was to address the upcoming issue for macOS Monterey (currently in Beta).

Apple removed PHP web server in the upcoming Monterey.

RealMac had to address this by installing PHP (RW 8.9.0), it fixed the issue for the beta users, and worked okay for Big Sur and Catalina, but broke RW for anything prior to that.

They fixed then rolled out a fix (RW8.9.1) to address the issue for Mojave and prior releases.

You can review the realse notes and roll back to what version you want, but to my knowldge no one is still having issues with 8.9.1 on any of the suporrted macOS versions.

8.9.1 fixed it for me. Thanks @dan .
