Aside from the Element 's site and templates that are already being released, where can these plenty of live websites be observed? I would like to review and dig through them.
Hi @DaveMac,
I don’t have any to hand to share (apart from the Elements website), but plenty of users have posted their websites here on the forum and sent them to us via support.
We plan to create a gallery where users can submit their Element-built websites; we just haven’t had the time to do it yet. Maybe I should create a new forum category for this in the meantime?
That seems appropriate.
It is certainly ready to publish websites. I have published five sites already with Elements. I have to say it was a dream creating them. Sure there are still some rough edges and missing components, but that did not prevent us from pubishing some nice looking sites.
Three of these sites were ports from Classic/Stacks and what a pleasure it was to work in an environment that was not always getting in your way.
Elements makes it easy to create good looking websites.

Will the current version of elements still work on a computer if a subscription is cancelled?
-
How do I figure out what version, Base or Plus, will work best for my needs before June 1?
Yes! You get to keep the version of Elements you’re currently using, but you won’t receive any further updates to it (after the year ends). You’ll need to re-subscribe to start receiving updates again.
There’s a full comparison here in the manual. The majority of users are purchasing the Plus license, and this is the one we’d recommend.
Are there any examples of a live Base plan site so we can look at the branding? I am not fussed if there is something in the footer but just want to see what the floating badge looks like
I agree. I gave up working with RWClassic (Sorry Dan) as it seemed to take too much work (for me anyway)
I already have a much better looking and responsive website using RWElements
No need to say sorry, we knew there was a better way, it’s why we built Elements - Glad you’re enjoying the move
Dear Realmac,
I think I already purchased elements. Would you kindly check for me? I have not been using it nor doing any web work lately, but I do need to sometime soonish.
Thank you,
Rachel Margolin

Hi @clearstone, I’ve just checked (using your forum email address) and it appears you have a license for Classic, but not Elements.
Hope that helps!
No wonder I didn’t purchase. I’m an old girl. I like to purchase and own software rather than lease it. Do you have any deal for us old folks?
Thanks,
Rachel
Long time user of your old school software
No problem, we had this in mind when we built our registration system…
When you purchase an Elements license, you can cancel your subscription straight away, but you still get a year of updates, and can use the app forever (you just won’t receive any updates until you renew your license).
We also have a Purchasing FAQ and Licensing FAQ available that explains things in more detail.
Hope that helps!
Thank you. I looked at your FaQs.
The $249 does not seem to be on sale now, so is it true that there is no rush in purchasing now? I could get the same price within at least a year from now?
Is the renewal charge the same as the sale price, or does it go up to normal next year?
What is the “normal” type of support offered for the two lower levels? Fast support would be the reason I would go high, as I am not as good at figuring things out as I was back in the day of (was it) PageMaker 1, DreamWeaver 1, oh, there was Quark 1 also… on my 512E Apple. Boy had to use my noggin then, back when I had one…. (Yes, I mentioned my age before)
Also, the 1GB cloud - shall I assume that as valuable while designing. Then uploading the sites themselves would be on other servers, correct?
As I am not really ready to get to work yet, depending on the answers to these questions, might be best for me to wait.
Thanks for your assistance.
Rachel
Only the Base and Plus plans have pre-launching pricing.
The renewal charge will be the same as you initially paid.
if you’re not building (and charging) sites for clients, then the Plus plan will be the best option for you.
This is just to back-up and share your project. You still need your own web server to publish your website too.
No problem, hope it helps and do let me know if you have any further questions.
Not in the traditional sense. When you purchase an Elements license from our website, you are automatically subscribed to one year of app updates. The license itself will not expire (you can use it forever), however the one year period of app updates will renew on an annual basis
Please note the following:
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless you cancel them.
- If you cancel, your one year period of app updates will remain active until the next renewal date.
- You can manage your subscription here.
Hope that helps, and do let me know if you need further clarification — We also have in-depth purchasing FAQ available here.
Thank you Dan, for answering. I went ahead yesterday and plunged into the Plus. Hopefully it will get me back to work on the web sites.
All the best,
Rachel
That’s awesome welcome!
