Can anyone recommend a Search plugin/addon/stack?
RapidSearch Pro won’t work on my server. (Tried this with Jonathan at length).
I don’t want a subscription type - my client won’t wear that.
There was a great one called G-Search a few years ago with worked a treat and was simple to set up - but Google functionality changed and made it redundant.
I have a new search stack built which is due for release within the next few weeks. It does not require PHP or a database. It’s currently being tested privately by a small group of users. Feedback has been very positive so far. It might be something of interest or help to you. It would be better suited for small to medium sized websites and multilingual websites.
