long standing thing with Elements if you press enter in a text box with nothing in it as in I erased the word cell to type what I wanted in it but hit enter by mistake and thats it…you cant get back in that cell again…..even dropping back a row then add it in again there is still a blank cell that you cannot get into….which means if you do make a mistake you will have to do the whole table again…this has been a problem from way back also the go back doesnt work either
little update you can get into a blank cell in the column headings by right clicking mouse and edit but only in the column headings
Yep, I had the same issue with the table cells. Since I wanted to leave a lot of cells empty but accidentally left one out and tried to go back and insert it after I realized it, no luck you have to delete the column completely and start over. Not good!
Thanks for all the reports. We’re aware of this issue and are looking into a fix. It may seem trivial (because we make it look so easy), but this stuff is incredibly complex!
The right-click “Edit Text” option currently works for components with a single editable text area, we need to extend this functionality to work with multiple text areas in a single component.
sorry yes your right can right click an edit but as soon as you leave the table and go back you cant
also you have to be precise where you double click and right click to edit cos half the time your in the wrong cell and you aint got a clue to what cell your in
might be handy if you delete the row then add a row it was a completely NEW row but at the moment if you have a blank cell delete the row and then add a row it will have the same blank cell…wierd
also shit I sound like a right moaner here…if you click and alter a cell the text format box shows on the right…the only way I can see to get back to the table altering bit is leave the table component and then go back into it! which then stops the ability to edit blank cels hahahaha
try this close down with an empty cell then reopen edit another cell and then go back to empty cell and edit, same if you edit another component for me
