I am using a global to create multiple cards of motorbikes. The tags look like above.
Reverting it to a non-global and it works.
Eeek, I’ve not tested Tags in globals! We’ll dig into this now and find out what’s going on and get it fixed.

forgot to mention. Tags can not be overwritten in globals. Approach would be the same like you showed for when to use Globals.
Ah-ha! Just looked into this now with @tpbradley and it’s because it uses collections!
So, yes, right now Collections won’t work with Globals — this is on the list to be fixed!
