Which FTP client do you recommend?

CloudMounter, Commander One, Transmit 5, CrossFTP, ForkLift, FileZilla, Cyberduck or ???

I use an old Transmit 4.4.13 (Intel with Rosetta).

I use Forklift :slightly_smiling_face:

I use Cyberduck if publishing via Elements causes problems. Can be used for free although payment is valued. And it’s super fast.

Been using Fetch for 30? Years

I am with Transmit since version 2.0. Never had an issue but I am not very demanding customer.

Transmit from Panic Inc. at Transmit 5

I’ve used Transmit for years. Never had an issue. I tried Cyberduck and Forklift, but didn’t like that as much.

I use Transmit 5 works really well for me. I think I’ve been using it for about 5 years and before that used Fetch.

I started using Cyberduck in the mid to late 2000’s. It was reliable and did what I needed, so never tried any of the other options.

Used Transmit happily for many years but when I had to start from scratch after a computer melt down I figured I would try a free FTP client. Tried Cyberduck but quickly moved to Filezilla. Works fine for my needs which is solely to upload RW files after exporting the site.

I am also using Cyberduck since years. It‘s free - but a donation is expected when you are using it - and it is constantly maintained and updated.

I have used both Transmit and Cyberduck. Both work fine. I switched to Cyberduck because it works cross platfrom. Transmit is MacOS only.

Many, many years ago I used Fetch, then moved to Transmit and never looked back.

Cyberduck for life.

Psyduck's Tee Hee Hee Laugh

I’ve just tried FreeFileSync and that worked fine. Very handy if you have different folders to sync to different places.

Been a Transmit user since 1998-2000 MacOS 8 or 9 ( though I cannot find my Kagi key post cards though ) Like any software, it’s all what you get use to using.

I like Forklift but lately it has at times slowed down to a snails pace (or less). When that happens I use the free version of FileZilla.

I use both CyberDuck and Commander One, mainly defaulting to the latter of late.

I use Forklift. Simple, and has many other features including dual-pane Finder managment and more.
