Wish: add-on API support for customizing publishing destinations or transfer methods.
Fallback: support for running a command (or applescript) after publishing to a local directory.
Use cases for me were/are: correct and safe uploading to AWS or other delivery platforms, publishing to a git repository.
Big +1 from me as I’d love to be able to publish and automatically deploy to Cloudflare Pages, and AWS either via command-line tools (ie. wrangler, aws-cli, etc.) or via a GitHub repo/branch that is tied to an existing deployment workflow.
Running Apache/Nginx, using CPanel, (S)FTP, etc and managing my own server was great 20 years ago, but isn’t something I’m terribly interested in doing these days.
