7.1 Sidebar/Master Style issue - Sidebar in preview but not published

(Greg Schneck) #1

Please provide a few details in the following format so we can help you as quickly as possible!

RapidWeaver Version: Version 7.1.0 (18203b)
System Version: 10.11.5 (15F34)
Hardware: iMac (27-inch, Late 2013), 3.2 GHz Intel Core i5, 24 GB 1600 MHz DDR3
** Theme** Media 6.1 (Themeflood)
** Stacks 3**

Theme Master Style is set to 1040 wide, responsive, 25% wide sidebar on right.
Page in question is set to “Master Style”

Issue
When in preview mode the sidebar shows. When published the sidebar did not show.
I removed “Master Style” as setting allowing page to be set to sub-style “Main” which is the Master Style.
When published with same settings, but not as Master Style, the sidebar appeared.

Expected Result:
(I would expect the published page to look like the preview page (with sidebar.)

Additonal info
I have been changing master style between PROJECTS. The master style for these projects should be the same. I’ve been toggling between sidebar and no sidebar. I can imagine that my master style was not properly “re-set” as I went into this project but that doesn’t explain why the preview showed the sidebar but the publish did not.

More info to further complicate this:

Media 6.1 Theme has this option: Remove Sidebar On Screens < 568px wide.
With the option is turned on, my sidebar is removed in Preview even when page is full width of my 27" monitor- far wider than 568 px.

This sounds like a theme issue and not RapidWeaver related.

Have you contacted the theme developer? What did they say?

Cheers,
Dan
