Can I speed this image heavy site up?

Thanks so much. That is really handy.

I downloaded what google considered optimum. The images were grey and lifeless and would certainly give my client a heart attack if I used them. BUT its really useful to be able to look at the size kb of them and therefore see how much one is going above that to get the image looking great. (Assuming I have optimized correctly for visual… which it appears I havnt yet on all!) Getting there though. Thanks for that

Thats the weirdest thing!
I cant find it on my server!
Im using Transmit and I want in and looked and its not showing that size! As I corrected it yesterday.

Forklift actually shows the size without having to view in preview … but I havnt quite mastered it yet

downloaded? You mean uploaded your images? If they look dull, make sure the color space is rgb, not cmyk or anything else.

Wait, did you get these photos from your client? Maybe they are not saved correctly on their end.

Search for the file name on your hard drive.

The dull image is that provided by google in sights downloaded in file of images optimized by google

but you’re not using those files in your site, are you? You’re just seeing the size? If so, then that doesn’t really matter.

NO not using them. Just useful to see their size

Your web site is getting that image from http://www.designforliving.me/files/image_stack_img_4895851.jpg. So that original 10.6Mb image must have been dragged into RW, Stacks renamed it and RW or Stacks puts it into the folder called http://www.designforliving.me/files/ .
