So what payment method(s) are included with the Free + Pro Features Forever?
Also, is the ‘enable Pro features for Free and Plus’ available when the product goes live or it available only as a beta perk?
I see a successful signup on our end, are you having an issues logging in?
Cartloom Pay is an entirely new feature in Cartloom 4. Cartloom itself can now handle credit card payments, and transferring those payments directly to your bank
PayPal Express and Cartloom Pay (CL Pay handles credit card transactions).
It’s a perk for those getting in early.
For all beta sign ups, within user Cartloom accounts we’ll be doing a last chance offering in the admin for the 6 mo. deal, and Pro Forever deal.
Doing a quick look through the site I find that even though I purchased the Pro Features Forever I am not able to remove the Cartloom Brand on the receipt. Not that I plan too but just curious how those features kick in. Thanks!
That’s a beta thing we need to clear up, thanks for pointing out, it’s on the todo list!
@nickcates How does SEO work with Cartloom 4 Nick? When you click on a product, I would expect the URL and the page title to change. For example, https://sandbox.cartloom.com/store/3/kiwi-multi-pattern-condensor. Is there some snazzy feature that I’m not up to speed with?
Is there kind of a “direct order” included in the free plan, so that the buyer gets a simple invoice to pay to my bank account before I send out the product? Or is such a feature only included with the Plus plan?
And is there a way to put the cart into a “catalogue mode”, where the payment features are deactivated and only the products are presented by the store, which still can be added to the cart and in the end kind of an inquiry/request is sent to the shop owner, so that such an inquiry can be handled by the shop owner by hand?
By the way: in the pricing table there is “Monthy Price” which should be “Monthly Price”…
Matthias,
You can send the user an invoice that they can pay online. After that you can follow up manually or return back a personalized message after payment is successful.
As for a “catalogue mode”, Cartloom does not support that currently. I will talk it over with Nick and see if we can’t try and add that before the final release.
Thanks for the typo callout. We just fixed a bunch of those.
I got in. I just had to refresh the page a few times. Is there a way to organize items in 1 store? Say you sold T-shirts and Pants, but wanted a button to see the shirts and the other to show pants?
Currently a Store is based on Individual Products you choose, Best Sellers or Category(ies). A store does not have a multiple category display in a single store. We do plan to make it possible to use multiple stores on a single page however. That way you can have one for T-shirts and another for Pants.
I did some testing, if I have one stacks page for T-Shirts and one for Pants and go into each page and ad 1 shirt and 1 pair of pants, in either page the cart shows both items. Would this be a functional work around until the “categories display” gets put into production?
You can send the user an invoice that they can pay online.
But can the user also choose to pay “offline” (via normal bank transfer)? This way he wouldn’t have to use only-payment but could also choose to pay “like in the old days”…
A store does not have a multiple category display in a single store
Hmm, does that mean that I can’t have s.th. like this? http://www.shuffleskins.de
This is my ecwid-store where I sell protective foils for iDevices, and I have setup categories for iPhone, iPad etc.
I think having categories like these is very important…
Store Categories have now been put into production
Cartloom supports manual payment options, so you could have an checkout payment called, “Pay me later, like in the old days”, and when they click that - it’ll complete the purchase.
Right now stores do have search but not sort ability. We have on the list to add sorting for thumbnail view, and relevant products when viewing individual products. So it’s not currently an option, but it’s on our list for sure.
It seems there is a lot of confusion on the pricing. So here is another question.
I want to set up a new store in the next few weeks.
Do I start with Cartloom 3 or go right to the Cartloom 4 beta?
Also, I’m assuming that digital downloads can be handled within Cartloom, right?
Thanks a million.
P.S. It might be great to see a feature comparison with RapidCart.
Where do we send feedback for the beta?
We love feedback!
