Continuing the tradition of releasing a useful free RW addon or eBook each year, this year I am pleased to unveil the Showcase Ultra stack. It is available to purchase from the RWExtras website.
This stack has not been available for a couple of years. Today it is being re-released again. For a very limited time it is available as a free download from the RWExtras website. Use the coupon code happy2018 at the checkout. [Edit] The promo has finished and the stack returned stack to its normal cost.
If you have been reading any web design blogs or magazines recently, you will be aware that the type of effect Showcase Ultra creates is tipped as becoming a popular design trend in 2018.
Showcase Ultra now supports many more frame designs, straight out of the box. Plus you can supply your own PNG cutout frame design too. But most crucially, the whole stack is now fully responsive and retina display optimised. Showcase Ultra has been entirely rebuilt from scratch.
The slider effect in Showcase Ultra is purposefully very simple. It has zero user interaction. Showcase Ultra is perfect to display app / game screenshots or as a really interesting image slider. You can place the stack within the normal page flow or within a theme ExtraContent container (making it good for page banners).
Images within your slider can either be dragged and dropped directly into Stacks or linked from a warehouse location. The new user interface permits you to drag and rearrange images into any order. Either landscape or portrait images may be used. The ‘image scale’ option lets you zoom the slider bounding box, so images fill the entire PNG frame. Showcase Ultra remains easy to use.
I want to take this opportunity to thank all customers, past, present and future for your continued loyalty. I hope you have a wonderful Christmas and New Year! 2017 has been an exciting year for ThemeFlood, Stacks4Stacks, RWExtras, RapidSearch Pro and seyDesign. We hope 2018 will take a similar path.
Our office is now closed through until mid-January. Only a very limited amount of support is available during this period, via email and social media. Beta testing of WebYep CMS stacks is continuing via the WebYep community board - of which another build has been released this evening.
