This is probably on the list? 
There needs to be a mechanism to be able to export / backup Collections.
Also it would be good to be able to import / restore a Collection backup.
EDIT Just found something I previously posted: Collections CSV Import - Feature Request
However this request is coming more from the backup perspective.
