I want to host all website content in one place and not use (additional) CDNs for libraries or fonts. This is because of a preference for independence, code integrity and GDPR related requirements. I’m thinking especially of google fonts.
feature request 1: Have the option to automatically download google fonts and include the files as site resources. Allow selection of font variations to include or exclude.
feature request 2: Have a project setting that enforces locally hosting every resource. Perhaps it’s hard to enforce this on third party components, but it could be a hint for those. You could verify all links are internal at a late stage of the publication process.
Thanks for your open development process. It’s nice to have the opportunity to influence the product at this stage.
