Can I use Alloy Stacks in Source framework?
No,
Alloy is foundry only.
well that stinks…lol
Thanks
My Total CMS blog works in any theme or framework though.
You answered your own question really. Your answer is in your post title:
Foundry’s Alloy in Source
Alloy uses the Foundry framework for its styling and layout. This helps keep Alloy more lightweight and helps keep things consistent in styling as well. FWIW – If you like Alloy, chances are you’d probably like Foundry too.
@ajenks – Arlen, if you need to use the Source framework, you’ll want the Poster 2 blog stacks (Poster is actually much more than just a blog) from inStacks.
Of course, there are other alternatives, too…
Thanks, no I’m actually a Foundry user, I was just exploring Source and what it had to offer. I like that there’s little to no bloat in the framework.
I love foundry, that’s all I currently use. I was just exploring the Source framework to see what it had to offer. Yes, I suppose I did answer my own question, I was thinking, well maybe since Alloy is just a set of stacks it would work, but obviously a lot more goes into it than that.
