Google Linking To Old Version Of Website?

Google search throws up the website, the link works and goes straight to the website. But, Google has enclosed 4 ‘sub headings’ beneath the main website link. Each of these links to an older version of the website. I’ve requested that the website is re-crawled, would that be all the action needed? Every time a website is updated and uploaded, is this re-crawling required? How long should the re-crawling take?

Your first priority is to do 301 permanent redirects from the outdated links shown to the new pages. If you are using cPanel you can do this easily under domains > redirects.

Once done, Google will (in it’s own time) put those old links way down the pecking order so they don’t get found easily and when they do, they will go to the correct new pages.
