Help with Duo theme

Im trying to curate a responsive site that is made up of 2 columns. Text on left and image on right.
Both columns equal size and image filling the right column.

I am using the theme Duo from multithemes. I seem to be missing something, because when screen is reduced to iPad or iPhone format the image part is only shown in part. I need to see full image under the text when responsive.
Anyone have any advice on how I can do this with Duo… Or another way to achieve it
