How do you prefer to build your website(s)?
  • I prefer to build from the ground up.
  • I prefer to start with a pre-built template and fill in the content.

I’m interested to learn how the community prefers to build their website(s).

Personally I’m more technical. Design-wise I’m challenged. Because of that when building a website I prefer to find and/or buy a nice pre-built template I like and fill in the content, making small modifications or adjustments here or there if needed, similar to using themes in RapidWeaver Classic but with a little more flexibility.

What about y’all? Are you excited for the complete design freedom RapidWeaver Elements will offer, or will you be on the lookout for some really beautiful pre-built templates put together by creative third-party artists?

The critical word here is “build.” I think you mean “design.”
I say that because I’m designing a new Web site in Elements. But as I’ve noted before, I have a lot of repetitive pages, so when I’m building I want to create a new page from one I’ve built before and then just change some content. And then when I decide I need an entirely new type of page, then I want to design with the starting point being my header/footer for the site being intact, with a nice blank area in the middle ;~)
