I’m reviving a business that I mothballed a few years ago. The product is the same I want to use my old RW pages/files if at all possible. Will these files (pre-2020) be compatible with the latest and greatest RW? TY in advance for any advice.

You should be able to open your old project file in RapidWeaver Classic (depending on which version of RapidWeaver you built it with). RapidWeaver Classic is currently the most current stable release of our app. Do you remember which version of RapidWeaver you built your original website with?
Regarding “the latest and greatest RW”, that would be RapidWeaver Elements and we just dropped the Beta today. You will not be able to automatically upgrade project files built with RapidWeaver Classic or prior to a RapidWeaver Elements compatible format, but you probably wouldn’t want to anyway. RapidWeaver Elements is using the latest and greatest web technologies which will allow you to build faster and more modern websites. We think our users are going to love Elements and will start converting their old legacy websites as soon as it’s ready for a stable release. Stay tuned.
