It would be useful if components had the option to add a link to them by default.

Definitely.
I wanted to have a link attached to an image and couldn’t find an easy way to do it. I realise there’s probably a way via a custom element but this seems a fairly basic function which is missing.
A website I’ve done in the past in Wordpress has a grid of sponsor logos and I want each to be clickable to their respective websites.

Yes, that’s a great point. We should probably add a link option to the image and a few other components. I’ll chat with @bon about it and hopefully get it added into the next beta!
