I’m working with TotalCMS for quite some time now. Using it for blogging.
Now I would like to make a TotalCMS page to make a link page (text and URL’s). Somehow I can’t figure out how to setup such a page.
I can add a textfields and add a URL in it, but how do I set it up so that I can add another line with a new URL when I’m logged into the CMS?
So a page of links like this? https://www.britonsvotingabroad.co.uk/links/
If so, that’s just a single Text stack being used to handle all the links. (This uses Easy CMS but the principle is exactly the same with Total CMS).
Log into the CMS and
Type the text you want to turn into a link
Highlight it
Choose the link button in the button bar of the editor
Add the URL
Confirm
Press return and move onto the next link.
Save and exit the CMS.
Open the page of links on the live site, refresh the page to see your changes.
That for sure is a good way to do it. So easy that I didn’t think of it. I was thinking about a listing stack. But this works also. Good way to start.
Is there a some kind of listing stack that can be used with TotalCMS?
This list of prices is controlled by Easy CMS via the PriceList stack from Marathia (https://rapidweaver.marathia.com/stacks/pricelist/). Total CMS would work in the same way. It’s a little time-consuming to set up but works quite effectively.
