Lots of Black Friday Deals

I have a few Yuzool products, but don’t use any of them. The last purchase I made was for their Designed theme (which I naively assumed for $29 would come with the Material Design components. Nope. What you see in the demo is what you get, period.)

I’m not understanding. If I go to their site you can buy individual stacks. Are you seeing something different? (Of course the individual stacks are not on sale.)

But I have to admit it can all be confusing. At one time they offered only subscription (it seems), but no longer.

Matthew-
I know that. But previously, the stack I wanted to buy was only available in a bundle, so I was forced to buy about 50 random stacks to just get the one I wanted. It’s still set up that way… in the Oak Bundle. This is nothing new… Michael is aware some people like me are not fond of his bundle set up. Nothing I can do about it except not make that mistake again.

So you’re saying not all of their individual stacks can be bought individually. Some are available only via bundle? If that’s the case, no wonder the confusion and frustration. And no wonder you wouldn’t wander down that road again!

Hi Matthew,

But I have to admit it can all be confusing. At one time they offered only subscription (it seems), but no longer.

Looks like you’re right. I just checked my Yuzool emails and found the one from Jan 12 where they announced their “Yuzoolthemes Cloud Club”

I clicked on the link and now it comes up “Checkout Disabled”
http://email.yuzoolmail.com/t/r-l-ykijuydk-hdtklltlc-y/

I was also hoping for a discount on Armadillo, but if it doesn’t happen I’m still going to get it as it’s a bargain anyway.

I feel your pain, I also mostly detest having to pay a monthly fee for stuff I don’t want or need. I mean Setapp is awesome but they have 100 Mac apps. That is hard to compete with. Then you have services I can’t live without, Dropbox, GDrive, Netflix

I think you always should be able to buy them separately also.

I’d agree about Armadillo being good value at full price. It has its quirks but I’m really pleased that I re-did my Blogger/RapidBlog blog with it.

What kind of quirks? You mean just on the set up side?

Funnily enough I’ve never had a problem setting up the database side of things. No I’ve occasionally struggled to understand some of the plugin’s own settings and I don’t really know if it’s me or if things aren’t perhaps explained as clearly as they could be. I know I’ve gone down several rabbit holes in the past because I’d assumed this or that.

But like I say, I think it’s a great plugin and use it myself for my own stuff.

Yuzool - Yes they have “subscription” model if you want it (I have it), but any “new” stacks & themes can also be purchased separately here https://www.yuzoolthemes.com/store.html

What they did do, was took almost all their older stacks and themes, and basically “archived them” as part of the “Oak Bundle” (Over 60 Stacks & Themes) There are some good ones in there that I use quite a bit.

The subscription does have a few extras, some stacks, a form builder service, and a website testing service.

Interesting that no one mentioned the 50% off from Foreground. Hopefully that means they’ll be a bit more active soon.

I saw it and thought it was pretty ridiculous. Rob shows up a few times a year here and says, “Sorry, we’ve been busy, we’ll be more responsive soon,” but disappears again. Then another 4-5 months goes by and he says the same thing. I gave up about a year ago after never hearing back. Seems like he has time to do a sale, despite not having time to back his products with support. Too bad, because it is a good product (could use some modification), but I won’t support it anymore.

Thanks @LSPhoto if you want Cart 2 it’s $39
It’s not discounted because it’s brand new and has lots of hours of hard work put into it:

Please see @GRMacGeek post - he explains it perfectly clearly and the value that you get from it: Lots of Black Friday Deals

But like anything, you don’t have to buy it. And if $39 is too much for creating a shop then I would seriously reconsider your product / project value proposition.

Really @bobafifi :man_facepalming: I see 12 items on sale here:

Thank you @Mathew for seeing the individual Store page also.
