Need LInking information for phone number on responsive sight

Hi…

I added a call button to our website last year. It worked but now that I have updated the site it is not working.

It comes up with a # sign in the URL automatically for some reason but it does not work.

I searched this site and tried the code here. Did not work.

It is a US # .

The url to add for a phone number is just tel:1234567890
