Just highlight the text you want to link, use the link tool and then type in the mailto: email link. And as @TomM said you probably want to encode the email link with that stack or with:

or similar.

I successfully implemented the mailto: ~ now as you wrote, also obfuscating the email, however the tool Email Obfuscator sets a href tag to the email, so when I cleaned it, it worked.

There are other obfuscators out there, I remember.
