Not seen too much on this subject lately, but I have a lot of problems with preview generation being slow and fans going into overdrive. Lunching RW with 3rd party plugins, themes disabled, and preview window reset solves both these problems - so it appears not to be attributable to the core RW product.
Any plugins / themes I should be suspicious of? I have a lot!
I’ve got 2,000 stacks (gulp!) running on a six year old MacBook Pro with 8GB and am not experiencing any problems. I’d suggest it’s a plugin or a theme?
Suspicions would normally fall on older stuff, discontinued plugins or things that are known to have the occasional issue like PlusKit , so I guess I’d start with those?
