Prepopulate Text Fields on Contact Page

I’ve done a fair amount of searching and can’t seem to find the answer. But I’m new, so just push me in the right direction if this has already been discussed, if you would.

Is it possible to pre-populate, or to provide a default value for, a text field on the basic Contact Form, that is a part of Rapidweaver 8?

I’ve seen the Contact Form Populator Stack from Marathia’s Stacks and I’ll buy it if I need to but it seems overkill for my current needs. The text does not need to be dynamic. It can be just some basic static text.

Any thoughts, code snippets, directions appreciated!
