Stacks is not showing correctly on iphone 16

Hi there, stacks and columns are not showing correctly on iphone 16. Has anyone this same problem? is there a solution to fix this issue? also there is no iphone 16 under sumilate to view the site in preview mode. I hope it will come in the upgrade version of Rapidweaver.

Hi @Think-Different,

It looks to be a CSS margin problem. Possibly column stacks within a grid?

Which stack did you use to make these columns? The standard one included with stacks, or a third party one?

If you post a link to your site, we can have a look at the CSS to figure out what’s causing the wider margins.

Erwin

This is the new website:

I am using stacks.

Have you set up split for mobile? In stacks you can split columns on tablet and iphone.

To see the responsive behavior of the phone you can narrow the preview in RW classic.

There is now preview mode for iPhone 16. Does anyone have this problem too with stacks? I can not imagine that I am the only one with this problem.

I reckon that most of us here don’t use the columns stack that comes with Stacks, but a third party replacement instead. The base stacks in Stacks are too limited in functionality.

The iPhone 16 has a pretty high resolution - it’s almost like a tablet in that respect. it might work if you also select this option:

Hi Erwin thank you i have made the change with columns. It is now waiting for if it is ok.

I use the column stack on a website and as it happens I have an iphone 16. There are no columns showing on the iphone in Portrait mode, it has stacked everything due to the limited width which works for me. I do have the mobile button ticked like the screenshot above but that must have been on by default. It does show the columns in Landscape mode but the spacing is all mucked up. I didn’t really want to know that …

I hope there is a solution for this issue with the iPhone 16, if anyone has ideas please let me know…

Hi Heroic that is the solution! It works very nice.. if you select the iPad option the resolution works fine on the iPhone 16.

You can simulate resolution for iPhone 16 with the “iPhone XS Max” selection.
