We are trying to pour some text from a file into a TCMS admin page. The formatting is annoying as spaces are different between the text file and the Text input field.
Is there a good technique to do this?

You cannot rely on spaces to line things up. Try using a table layout with Hipwig. You can enable that inside Admin Core.
