If you’re building external Element Dev Packs, it’s worth using a little AI to help you out. In this tutorial I show you how to use the new “Work with apps” feature in the ChatGPT Mac App and get it hooked up to Nova from Panic.
This is an interesting video. It makes me question, how difficult is this to just skip the Nova app and drop it into Elements? Seems like a natural fit.
as everyone knows nothing is free in life…I always like to get the full features of apps etc so ChatGPT Nova and Tailwind all cost money to get full features…a lot of people will be making components etc and charging money eventually… I would like to thank Dan for saying here in the chat where a question was asked about Sitely and Dan said everything they do Elements will do!!! conversely anything Elements can do Sitely can do…and a bit more besides like a natural password protection…a natural payment system, so guess what…thats what ive been using. Sorry but all this code stuff is forcing me away from Elements. Look at the last 4 or 5 videos all involving code. not for me…
I’m not looking at other options necessarily. However, RM is missing a big opportunity if the drag and drop solutions are not fully realized. Dan has said that many components will brought back. Hopefully before the first version ships.
This is a great tutorial for people to see.

This is a really interesting tutorial, thanks for making it @dan! It’s helpful for anybody that’s wanting to dive deeper into making custom components, and how to leverage AI if they are having any troubles with it.
And for those not wanting to make their own custom components, no worries, there will be plenty of drag and drop goodness to select from (built-in, from builders in the community, and from third-party developers).
