Using AWS and Lightsail

Hello I am still learning but currently my website is with ionos and am considering moving it to AWS Lightsail. The size of the site is very small under 1GB. It does not get that much traffic at the moment. I thought it would be fun to learn a bit of fun to learn AWS. I also want to learn more about Windows server so perhaps could create a Windows Server. However I will keep my options open andd perhaps cPanel would be better? What do pople use currently?

cPanel & WHM for Linux (Bring Your Own License) 11.92.0.9

cPanel & WHM (Bring Your Own License) is a suite of tools that gives you the ability to automate web hosting tasks via a simple graphical user interface. cPanel & WHM provides website owners and server administrators with all the tools necessary to take their product to the next level, focus on empowering their customers and build every facet of their website experience. Does your website require having a VPS?

Sorry what is VPS ? if it is Virtual Prviate Server then no I don’t think it does.

Why are you then wanting to use one?

Just for testing? A normal hosing plan should then be fine?

just for testing but maybe it is overkill ?

You have to deal with a lot more components on this VPS than you have to with a web hosting plan.
