As @teefers said, your big problem is that you are using the Right to Left theme. That will definitely cause you headaches! I don’t know why you don’t have the regular theme installed but you can get it from the product page downloads section.
Hopefully my video shows some of the minor differences in F6. But as you can see the workflow if not much different from your F1 workflow. I have videos about each component that can help you learn a bit more about them since this video was just a quickie to help you.
Next, you may want to change the Stacks Edit mode to be Light. That may help you out.
